TOUR OVERVIEW

Federal Hill has been the center of business and culture for Providence's Italian population since the late 1800's. The Hill features numerous restaurants and shops, recognized as among the finest Rhode Island has to offer. Our tour visits traditional and modern bakeries, the wine shop that brought Italian wines and spirits to New England, butchers and poultry markets, and specialty food markets.

Cindy will describe each retailer and introduce you to the chefs, bakers and ravioli makers. She'll share plenty of tips and advice about Italian cooking and how to use the wonderful ingredients found in the Federal Hill shops.

This tour is perfect for clubs, corporate outings, out-of-town guests, families and anyone who loves to eat! Tour agenda may vary from week to week.
